Everything people ask.
Including the awkward ones. If something isn't here, message Raniya — the number on this site goes to her phone, not a support desk.
Fit & sizing
Because it was cut for an average American nail bed. That's not a slight against you — it's a manufacturing decision made in a factory that never measured an Indian hand. When a nail overhangs by even a millimetre, there's a gap at both sidewalls, and that gap is where water, soap and hair get in. Ours are cut to the ten numbers you send us, so there's no gap to get into. How to measure →
Yes, and most people use it. Lay your hand flat with a ₹10 coin next to it and send us one photo per hand. The coin is exactly 27mm, so we scale off it and read every nail ourselves. Ten seconds, and usually more accurate than home ruler work.
Send one photo of the nail on your finger. We remake it free and post it free, for 15 days, as many times as it takes. Custom sets can't be refunded because they fit nobody else — so instead you get unlimited remakes, which is worth more to you anyway.
Usually better than on long nails, actually. Press-ons need nail bed to stick to, not nail length. Tell us on the form that your nails are short and we'll size slightly differently and suggest a shorter length so the leverage doesn't work against you.
Wear & daily life
Sticky tabs: 3–5 days. The glue in the box: 7–10 days. Gel glue upgrade: 10–14 days. Honest bit — if one loosens it's usually around day 5–7, and it's almost always because the alcohol wipe step got skipped.
Yes, all of it. Two rules: give the glue a full hour before your hands touch water, and press each nail for 20 seconds when applying, pinching the sides. Wear gloves for a long utensil session and you'll get the full two weeks. If you cook daily, choose short or medium almond.
That's the brand name. Short and medium lengths you'll forget about within an hour. Long and XL take a day to adjust to — genuinely. If you're at a keyboard all day, medium almond is the sweet spot.
No. Nothing is drilled and there's no acetone soak-off. You buff very lightly to take the shine off, apply, and later soak in warm soapy water for ten minutes to remove. Almost all press-on damage is people pulling them off dry — which is why the removal card is in every box. Removal guide →
3–5 wears if you remove them gently and put them back in the box. Peel the old glue off the back, wipe with alcohol, and they're ready. That's what makes a ₹599 set work out at roughly ₹120–200 a wear.
Ordering, payment & delivery
Because your set fits nobody but you. If a custom parcel is refused at the door, it goes in the bin — there's no second customer for nails cut to your fingers. Rather than pad everyone's price to cover that, we hand the saving back: 10% off when you pay online, plus free delivery over ₹599. Payment is UPI through the same rails as Swiggy or Amazon — we never see your bank details.
3–4 working days to make, 2–5 to deliver depending on your pincode. Rush make in 48 hours is ₹149 — ask first so we can check capacity. In Vadodara we hand-deliver free the day it's ready.
Yes — any time before we start cutting. Full refund in 5–7 working days. Once the nails are cut and painted to your measurements, the materials are used and the set can't be resold, so we can't cancel then. We'll always tell you when we're about to start.
You'll see it before it ships. Raniya sends a photo of your finished set on WhatsApp and you approve it. If it isn't what you pictured, say so and it gets fixed before packing. Hand-made means small variations in glitter and art placement — it also means she can actually make the pink a shade deeper if you ask.
Not yet. India only for now. If you're abroad and want a set posted to family here, that works fine — order to their address and pay from wherever you are.
The at-home service
In Vadodara, yes — that's how Desk to Diva started. Raniya brings the full setup: mat, towels, sterilised tools, lamp. Gel X, gel polish, temporary extensions and dry mani-pedi. Everything is sanitised between clients and files are single-use.
Across Vadodara. Ask if you're a little outside — she usually says yes.
Gel X if you want three to four weeks of not thinking about it and you're in Vadodara. Press-ons if you want to change your look often, want them for a specific event, or don't live here. Plenty of clients do both — Gel X for the month, press-ons for the wedding.
