I'm Vadodara's first at-home nail artist, and I make every Desk to Diva set myself. There is no warehouse, no team and no call centre. When you message the number on this site, it buzzes in my pocket.
How this started
I started going to people's homes because I kept hearing the same thing: nobody wants to give up a Saturday afternoon and sit in a salon chair under a fan, waiting their turn. So I brought the chair to them — mat, towels, lamp, sterilised tools, the lot. Gel X, gel polish, extensions, dry mani-pedi.
The press-ons came from clients. They'd ask what they could wear after I left, or for something for a wedding in another city, or for a set they could put on themselves at 7am before a flight. I started making them by hand, one client at a time.
Then I noticed something. Every set my clients had bought online before coming to me was too wide. Every single one. They'd been cut for a hand that wasn't theirs. That's the entire reason Desk to Diva sizes each nail to your own measurements — it isn't a marketing feature, it's the thing that was actually broken.
What I actually do
- Shape and paint every nail by hand, cured under a lamp
- Cut all ten to your measurements, both hands separately
- Send you a photo before it's packed, so you can veto it
- Pack the box, write the card, and post it
- Remake anything that doesn't fit, free, for 15 days
What I don't do
- Buy bulk sets and re-sticker them
- Promise three weeks of wear when it's realistically one to two
- Take 100 orders a week and quietly miss half of them
- Write my own five-star reviews
I make about twelve sets a week. When the week is full I'll tell you before taking your money, not after.
